Hybrid Arbitration - Indianapolis, IN

March Madness 2022 came to Prevail in the form of a hybrid arbitration in Indianapolis, Indiana.

This was a hybrid arbitration - which means there was a balance of on-site witnesses and remote via Zoom. We went with a U-Shaped conference setup with the focus on the witness in the middle.

  • 3 arbitrators/panelists

  • Six-Eight attorneys per side.

  • 4 Remote Witnesses

  • 40+ people watching on Zoom

  • 2 Trial Techs

  • 1 On-Site Stenographer

  • 1 Back End Zoom Host/Moderator

  • Unlimited emails exchanged to make it all work on short notice.

We used a Yamaha Mixer, some good old Gooseneck mics, Logitech Webcams, MS Surfaces, and 17+ monitors, a projector and screen, etc. to get it all working smoothly. There were minor issues throughout with some reverb but that was quickly fixed by adjusting the "gain" on some of the microphones.

Setting up in the Indianapolis Hilton was made easy by the awesome staff (Shoutout Carlos - legendary customer service - rolled in a new table at 2am for me)

It was pretty cool to be involved in such a large case in Indianapolis, and also to be there during the opening rounds of March Madness to watch some basketball. The NFL Combine was also there too. Busy two weeks in Indy.

Enjoy a little video of what that looked like below!
